DNA STUDIOS ANNOUNCES NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART STUDIO AND BROADCAST FACILITY AT GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY
JANUARY 7, 2021
DNA Studios, LLC, an Humble, Texas-based media company, announced details of their new state-of-the-art studio and broadcast facility at Thursday’s groundbreaking ceremony.
The new facility is located near Isaacks Road and South Houston Road in Humble, Texas.
Sam Schrade, CEO of DNA Studios, led the ceremony, which began with a massive slideshow of past events, people, and sporting events that DNA has been a part of over the past 16 years.
He then invited Cameron Whitley, Senior Pastor of West Lake Church, to speak and give an invocation. Cameron thanked Sam for helping him “during an incredibly challenging time” last year and noted that DNA was a true partner and not just another transaction.
Schrade then narrated a DNA business timeline via a video presentation shown on one of its well-known video Jumbotron trucks. It began by sharing that DNA started in 2005 as just a website design company. Then in 2008, an additional company was started to handle broadcasting clients.
By 2015, DNA added national clients including NBC, ESPN, FoxSports and many more. DNA then added full-time staff and moved to their current location at 45 Wilson Rd in Humble.
After acquiring another mobile production company in 2018, DNA quickly moved into a prominent position as the largest mobile truck provider based in Texas.
After surviving a complete standstill during 2020’s COVID-19 stoppage of sports, DNA has emerged stronger and with innovative plans for the future. The new building, when completed in May, 2021, will have the ability for DNA to produce 12 live events at once. The new studio will have 3 new tv sets including their famous video wall and 16 foot tall green screen.
Also announced was the 3,000 square feet of office space, meeting rooms, and more available for long-term lease to an organization or business. “This is a perfect space for a non-profit, church or business looking for an affordable space,” said Schrade. DNA has requested the services of McAlpine Interests to broker space.
"DNA Studios is proud to be based in Humble, Texas and provides our clients the best service. We are proud of our growth over the past 16 years and look forward to the next 16 years right here in this great community," said Schrade.
Several speakers offered great words of encouragement and congratulations including Jenna Armstrong and Mark Mitchell, both with Partnership Lake Houston, which handles both chamber and economic development initiatives for the Lake Houston area. Also present was Casey Schrade, who provided congratulations on DNA’s continued growth and contributions to the region on behalf of the Greater Houston Partnership and she shared additional anecdotes about DNA’s history.
A nice crowd was in attendance on the brisk and cool morning including representatives from Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioners office and the City of Humble. Many of the Partnership Ambassadors were in attendance and posed for a photo.
DNA Studios clients include many national networks including ESPN, NBC News, ABC News, CBS, National Geographic, TLC, FoxNews and CNN.
Local and regional clients also depend on DNA’s studios and mobile production facilities for their broadcasting needs.
